Don’t let AI derail your retirement

Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be a useful tool in many areas of life, and you may be tempted to use it to understand how your Roche pension works or to get investment tips.

But be careful: sharing personal information with AI tools can put your data at risk, especially if you share details like your date of birth, address, NI number, bank details or other financial information. Public AI tools may expose confidential data, and if a provider is hacked, criminals could gain access to it.

AI can also give confusing, misleading or incorrect answers, and any information it provides is unlikely to reflect your personal circumstances or the Fund’s Rules and administrative practices.

If you rely on AI when making pension decisions and something goes wrong, you’re unlikely to recover compensation from the AI provider, and we accept no liability for losses caused by misuse of AI.

If you have questions about your pension, please contact the administrator for your Section.

If you need advice, we recommend that you speak to a qualified financial adviser.
